After considerable analysis, the Eurobarometer results reflect not only the political orientation of the electorate but also the deep conviction of Albanian citizens not to accept the return of the left. The result of this poll gives a clear picture of broad support for the Democratic Party and rejection of the forces associated with the past. According to the published data, support for the DP extends across different social strata, different age groups, and different geographical areas.
The results show that the Democratic Party maintains its advantage in the large cities and in the countryside, while the Socialist Party relies more on the lower-educated strata and on older age groups. This picture is interpreted as an indicator of the modernizing and pro-Western orientation of Albanian society. The conclusion of the poll is that the left remains unacceptable to the majority of Albanians.

The President: took part in the commemoration of the anti-communist events of 11 February and in the inauguration of two statues in this commune
After the protests against collectivization and the confiscation of private property in the second half of the 1990s in this area, the people resisted communism and preserved the painful memory of that time. At this commemorative ceremony it was emphasized that democracy places the individual and his freedoms at the center, in contrast to the former system.
The President took part in the commemorative event and stressed the importance of honoring the victims of communism. In his speech, the sacrifices of the residents were mentioned and their anti-communist resistance was praised. Two statues were also unveiled as a sign of respect for the events and figures of this area.
Collective disinformation by “ZP” and “KJ”
On the survey of the Association for Democratic Culture
Collective disinformation
by “ZP” and “KJ”
According to “ZP”, 14% assess the government's work, while according to “KJ”, only 8%.
64% of respondents have confidence that their institutions will function. 5% have lost hope.
This is not the first time that “Zëri i Popullit” and “Koha Jonë” have distorted polling data in order to create false political perceptions. In their coverage of a survey by the Association for Democratic Culture, both newspapers reached different and contradictory conclusions, distorting the meaning of the results and manipulating public opinion.
According to the article, the purpose of this selective interpretation is to undermine citizens’ trust in institutions and weaken support for the government. In reality, according to the survey data, the majority of respondents say they still trust the functioning of institutions and do not see the country as being in an irreversible crisis. In addition, only a very small minority declare that they have completely lost hope.
The article criticizes the way opposition-friendly media use statistics irresponsibly and present them in the service of political propaganda. The conclusion is that this is a case of collective disinformation, in which the two newspapers seek to impose a one-sided and tendentious reading of reality.
Will Krish embrace the Marxist program of the PS?
Tomorrow the leaders of the PS discuss 115 candidates for MP
Observers close to political developments within the left say that Socialist leaders are entering a new phase of candidate selection and are trying to align their figures with the party’s ideological orientation. At tomorrow’s meeting, 115 candidacies for MP are expected to be examined, while at the center of the debate remains this force’s relationship with its Marxist legacy.
According to sources, the discussions have focused on political representation and loyalty to the party program. Commentators ask whether Krish will move closer to the Marxist formulation of the PS or will maintain a tactical distance. This is expected to directly affect the configuration of the electoral list and the public image of the left.
