Moreover, in their statement it is noted that they try to deny their responsibility and shift it onto institutions. According to our assessment, this shows the institutionalization of clans and the way in which democratic procedures are being sought to be replaced by the logic of street pressure and violent structures. The new chairman of the Socialist Party, Fatos Nano, who was sentenced by court decision for abuse of office, and his recent statements show a clear orientation toward radicalizing political life rather than participating in normal parliamentary debate. In the same spirit, calls are made for boycott, for delegitimizing institutions, and for creating an atmosphere of distrust. This does not serve the stability of the country nor its integration.
