Political, economic and financial stability
—February 5, fixed by the government, is the date for the start of the sale of the Printing Houses. The government is considering keeping all the assets of the Savings Bank and the Commercial Bank in order to recover the lost money. Thus, at such a pace, which perhaps has not been taken into account, with a four-and-a-half-month deadline linked to February 5, this can be achieved.
—No one should think that their money will be made? Yes, without the slightest doubt they have. But on the other hand, the question is necessary: can the property, or the lost assets, penalize or hold hostage order, peace, property, or the lost assets? The loss of money is in itself painful.
Our action must be synchronized around three priorities: first, the protection of the Albanian secret police; second, the implementation of reform in the justice system; third, the encouragement and strict organization, with urgency, of the activity being carried out by suspicious banks throughout the country.
—Are we talking about violent interference in the activity of the banks? No, but the speed of their actions has created insecurity. Citizens are urged not to pay and to be clearly informed about how action will be taken. The state cannot penalize without legal means, but the government has the duty to guarantee order, peace, property, or their assets.
Action must also be synchronized with the warning of the Minister of the Interior and the Minister of Finance, who have repeatedly called for caution, pointing out the risks of investments without state guarantees.
Therefore, the government has the duty to intervene decisively to protect the public interest and to prevent a deeper financial crisis.
Kolqi, the true witness of the Bible
Pope John Paul II: I send a telegram of condolence to the Albanian Archbishop Rrok Mirdita
Pope John Paul II sent a telegram of condolence to the Albanian Archbishop Rrok Mirdita, who was always closely linked to his faithful and was showing that his faith was grounded in the Bible. He does not allow either political passions or ethnic divergences to obscure the light of the Gospel. As he writes to the Albanian Archbishop, the Pope emphasizes that Kolqi bore witness with his life that the religion of Christ has had a strong tradition in Albania. Recalling his figure, the Holy Father underlines that he lived through a difficult period and faced communism with dignity, remaining steadfast in faith and in service to the church.
Our cleric, known as (atikosaj?) and separated from this, is very much a shining example of the continual blessing in divine providence
Council of Europe - socialists pleased in parliament
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe approves a report on Albania
“Advisers to be approved by the committee of parliamentary parties”
In the discussions on Albania in the Council of Europe, most of the remarks concern the role of the opposition and its responsibilities in the country’s political climate. The approved report stresses the need for institutional dialogue and not for boycott. It also underlines the importance of opposition participation in parliament as the only democratic path to resolving political crises.

The former Albanian communists are instrumentalizing the disaster
Political forces of failure emphasize
The former Albanian communists have positioned themselves against the pyramid schemes in words only. In reality, they are trying to exploit the situation for political destabilization. Through protests and the stirring up of discontent, their aim is to strike at the democratic order and return to power. That is why every citizen must show restraint and not fall prey to provocations.
