No coalition with the red terrorists

PDSH chairman Tritan Shehu speaks after the National Council meeting As quick a solution as possible to minimize the damage The National Council of the 28-group of the Democratic Party met , with those who, in coalition with them, through threats create panic and spread insecurity among people who lost their money. The party leadership expressed high appreciation for the swift and correct response of the state authorities and especially the structures of the Ministry of the Interior in Vlorë, which faced the uncertainty and difficulty of the situation. Considering that the establishment of an unconstitutional precedent through violence in Vlorë, to be administered in government and carried out with anti-democratic means, while threatening state institutions, municipalities, and local administration institutions, the leadership of this party issues a clear warning that democracy and the rule of law will never allow such a confirmation. It will fight with all political and democratic means to reject these tendencies. Meanwhile, the leadership of PDSH has expressed all its willingness to contribute to solving the situation, through dialogue and in full respect for the law and the country's institutions. During the discussion in the National Council, tonight it was confirmed that the situation is serious but temporary and that it must be overcome through law, justice, and civic consensus. The National Council assessed that there can be no solution outside the constitutional framework and the democratic order. In his speech, Tritan Shehu said that the attempts at destabilization have a clear political and criminal character and that those responsible must face justice. He stressed that the government and the party will stand by the affected citizens and that immediate measures must be taken to minimize the damage and restore normality. The masterminds of the Vlorë killings

Today in court, the detention measure for Saliu Broka is to be assessed The charge of placing an explosive device in the offices of Vlorë and for “Harmanin Shqiptare e Delijorgjisë” On Monday, at the Vlorë police station, the head of the Association of Politically Persecuted People, Todi Hoxha, was questioned. During questioning, he stated that on 5 February he had been invited to a television program, and while heading to the “6+1 Vlora” television station, an explosive device detonated in front of his car, which, depending on the type, may have been tritol. According to Hoxha’s statement, one day before the tritol incident he had been in contact with the political entity “Partia e Legalitetit”. Based on this and other operational materials, it is suspected that the organizers of placing the explosive were the citizens Saliu Broka and Isuf Kallafa. They were arrested on 5 February and are being investigated for the criminal offense of “placing an explosive device”. We inform you that on Saturday, in front of the Vlorë Court, a group of people held an illegal rally, demanding the release of the two arrested men. Its purpose was to exert pressure on the justice authorities. Pamphlets distributed at this rally say that “their arrest was made for political reasons”. Investigations show that this activity was organized by persons also involved in other terrorist and criminal acts, while work continues to fully document the event.

A public order police officer killed in Vlorë

He was shot with automatic firearms in front of his home A police officer from the Vlorë district, Agim Sota, around 6:00 p.m., while riding his bicycle home near the villas known as “Zamkorr”, close to his residence, was struck by a burst of automatic gunfire. He died from the wounds he sustained. After checking the scene, casings from an automatic weapon were found, and the bicycle he was riding was also damaged. The investigative team went to the scene and is investigating to solve the killing.

The IMF has offered aid to Albania

Also, representatives of international financial institutions have expressed readiness to help Albania cope with the economic consequences. The IMF has stated that it will send experts to assess the situation and provide concrete recommendations for financial stabilization.
