Partia Socialiste kërkoi dje të hiqet gjendja e jashtëzakonshme, për t'i krijuar lehtësira bandave të saj të armatosura që të terrorizojnë vendin. Në ditë më parë Gjinushi bëri thirrje në Vlorë që demokratët të tërhiqeshin zvarrë [English] The left bloodied the campaign The Socialist Party yesterday demanded that the state of emergency be lifted, in order to create easier conditions for its armed bands to terrorize the country. A few days earlier Gjinushi called in Vlorë for democrats to be dragged through the streets. [Italiano] La sinistra ha insanguinato la campagna Il Partito Socialista ieri ha chiesto di togliere lo stato d'emergenza, per creare maggiori facilitazioni alle sue bande armate affinché terrorizzino il paese. Pochi giorni prima Gjinushi aveva lanciato a Valona l'appello che i democratici fossero trascinati per le strade.

Ish-komunistët e Shqipërisë kishin dhe ia dolën qëllimit të tyre. Të parat, oqet armësh u plaçkitën, u ndanë më qafë nga policë të vrarë e plagosur. U vranë, u plagosën e u rrëmbyen nëpunësit e lartë të burgjeve. U grumbulluan pistoleta e mitralozë nga depot e policisë e të ushtrisë. U pre bllokada. U vra e u plagosën policë. Forcat e policisë së rendit publik humbën zëmrin, morale. U tërhoqën dhe të gjithë socialistët të para nga të shpartalloheshin e gjymtoheshin forcat e policisë e të shpartalloheshin forcat e policisë, veçanërisht repartet speciale. Ta fragmentarizosh revoltën sociale e ta çosh nivelin e saj drejt luftës civile është meritë e padiskutueshme e organizatorëve politikë. Fajit vendimtar të kësaj pune i prinë marksistët e rinj. Eshtë sigurisht një përfundim makabër, por është ende e nevojshme të bëhen veprime të tillë morale që quhet përgjegjësi. Të paktën ta quajmë me emrin e vet. Nuk është rastësi e qartë që gjithë veprimet që nga vendimi i gjykatës për Berishën, porti i Durrësit e deri te grabitja e depove ushtarake, do t'i shfrytëzonte politikisht e propagandistikisht Partia Socialiste. Në përpjekje për t'i kapur kryesimin e revoltës spontane dhe për ta vënë në shërbim të saj, Partia Socialiste nuk kujtoi as në një çast as normat minimale të sjelljes së një force politike, demokracinë dhe normat etike të veprimit politik. Ajo e konsideroi çdo armë kundër Sali Berishës dhe PD-së si të vlefshme. Kryengritja, shkatërrimi i shtetit, çarmatimi i ushtrisë, të gjitha u panë si mjete të leverdisshme për të realizuar qëllimet e saj politike. Në asnjë rast nuk u pa një distancim i prerë nga aktet e terrorit, përkundrazi, fjalori publik i drejtuesve të saj i justifikoi dhe i ushqeu ato. Pas kësaj Shqipëria rrëshqiti në kaos. Nuk është e tepërt të thuhet se rebelimi nuk u drejtua vetëm nga dëshpërimi, por edhe nga një strategji e mirëmenduar për marrjen e pushtetit me çdo mjet. It was and remains an organized political rebellion. After the spark thrown over the country by the collapse of pyramid schemes, revolt against state authority began. They took up arms and declared the local power of salvation committees. To fragment social revolt and push it toward civil war is the indisputable merit of the political organizers. The decisive blame for this work was led by the new Marxists. It is certainly a macabre conclusion, but it is still necessary to make such moral judgments called responsibility. At least let us call it by its proper name. It is no coincidence that all actions from the court decision on Berisha, the port of Durrës and up to the looting of army depots were politically and propagandistically exploited by the Socialist Party. In trying to seize the leadership of the spontaneous revolt and put it at its service, the Socialist Party did not observe even the minimum norms of conduct of a political force, democracy and ethical norms of political action. It considered every weapon against Sali Berisha and the DP as valid. The uprising, the destruction of the state, the disarming of the army, all were seen as useful means to achieve its political aims. In no case was there a clear distancing from acts of terror; on the contrary, the public language of its leaders justified and nourished them. After this Albania slid into chaos. It is not excessive to say that the rebellion was driven not only by despair, but also by a deliberate strategy to seize power by any means. Per prima cosa i depositi di armi furono saccheggiati, le armi distribuite, poliziotti uccisi e feriti. Alti funzionari delle carceri furono uccisi, feriti e rapiti. Pistole e mitragliatrici furono raccolte dai depositi della polizia e dell'esercito. Furono eretti blocchi. Agenti di polizia furono uccisi e feriti. Le forze di polizia dell'ordine pubblico persero coraggio e morale. Si ritirarono e tutti i socialisti guardarono mentre le forze di polizia, soprattutto i reparti speciali, venivano distrutte e mutilate. Terrore, anarchia e rapine cominciarono a trionfare nelle loro azioni. Il terreno favorevole fu creato e rimase fino alla fine di marzo. Questo non è stato e non può essere considerato semplicemente una protesta spontanea. Fu ed è una ribellione politica organizzata. Dopo la scintilla lanciata sul paese dal fallimento delle società piramidali, iniziò anche la rivolta contro l'autorità statale. Presero le armi e proclamarono il potere locale dei comitati di salvezza. Frammentare la rivolta sociale e spingerla verso la guerra civile è il merito indiscusso degli organizzatori politici. La colpa decisiva di questo lavoro fu guidata dai nuovi marxisti. È certamente una conclusione macabra, ma è ancora necessario formulare tali giudizi morali che si chiamano responsabilità. Almeno chiamiamola con il suo vero nome. Non è casuale che tutte le azioni, dalla decisione del tribunale su Berisha, al porto di Durazzo fino al saccheggio dei depositi militari, siano state sfruttate politicamente e propagandisticamente dal Partito Socialista. Nel tentativo di impadronirsi della guida della rivolta spontanea e di metterla al proprio servizio, il Partito Socialista non rispettò neppure le norme minime di condotta di una forza politica, la democrazia e le norme etiche dell'azione politica. Considerò valida ogni arma contro Sali Berisha e il PD. L'insurrezione, la distruzione dello Stato, il disarmo dell'esercito, tutto fu visto come mezzo utile per realizzare i propri obiettivi politici. In nessun caso vi fu una netta presa di distanza dagli atti di terrore; al contrario, il linguaggio pubblico dei suoi dirigenti li giustificò e li alimentò. Dopo questo l'Albania scivolò nel caos. Non è eccessivo dire che la ribellione fu guidata non solo dalla disperazione, ma anche da una strategia deliberata per prendere il potere con ogni mezzo.
