Socialism, but with limits

The OSCE Committee's statement in the American Senate has been received by political forces in Albania as a reaction to all the formulations about the elections that have reached the political headquarters in Tirana. It attests to an endorsement of the elections in our country, stressing both the importance of these elections, which is not denied by either the ruling side or the opposition, and the level of these elections, which is highly debatable in the many different tones long present in Albanian politics. The attention with which the American Senate has followed the situation in Albania and the electoral process, and its prejudice toward the country, has left some room for the attention of the OSCE, some non-profit associations, or independent institutes from various countries. Such an exact appraisal and the analytical sense of what has happened in Albania make it hard for any political camp in the country to add anything. It is worth noting that in the American Senate's attention, as a central issue, is how much these elections have reflected the balance of forces in the country and to what extent the right to freely express political opinion through the vote has been realized in these elections. These are precisely the two points that are reflected in the Senate's assessment, which leads to the conclusion that early elections in Albania are inevitable. It is entirely clear that for the democratic world, coming to power by force of arms is unacceptable, as is holding on to power by force of arms. The warning that this statement has given to the Socialists, at risk of carrying out the transition of a state in an armed manner, carries the factual data of what has already occurred into the near future. No one accepts political relations secured by military methods, especially when those relations work in favor of the most regressive political part of a country, as is the case with our country's PS. The warning the Americans give about new elections is also a major impulse for the governance of the country and for entering a crisis of confidence, in order to move toward the fastest and most normal stabilization possible. It is precisely under such conditions that the development of elections would also be normal, while the commitment to stability becomes highly complex, involving all the country's political structures. It would be abnormal for a ruling political party to seek, in a wave-like manner, to preserve a state achieved in Albania solely because of its governing legitimacy. The first signals for methods of restoring order warn of a kind of oscillation in which order will constantly be under the threat of anti-order. One of the Socialist failures marked the first lapse: reserve forces engaged during the state of emergency, while neglecting the gangs of the south, which lie in wait and wait for the blow. Meanwhile, the candidate for Minister of the Interior has chosen as his allies for establishing order precisely those who stole, burned, killed, and destroyed several centers in the south of the country. It would be catastrophic to wage the so-called war against the country's socialists today, when order has been observed, only to create descriptions of an unfavorable electoral situation. The American Senate's statement is a major blow to the way Socialists use to win votes over 6 years of land; as brothers, chiefly of the drafting of parties. The Socialists are determined to bring us back to a state in which, if someone agrees to speak before voting, he will not normally accept to enjoy his right before it takes the votes away precisely through the deception that stems from the PD crowd. Being a constructive opposition, it will never forget that constructiveness is not lacking even above the artificial level that has been given to the reformist aim of the PS force. It has the duty to keep reminding people that the country's future is not built on political adventures but on reorganization in form and governance. If now the road is taken where it is giving milk and the belt is narrow. Sami NEZA

PD, a strong and constructive opposition

President Berisha received the senior IDA official, Tom Melia Yesterday President Berisha had a meeting with the senior official of the American Democratic Institute, Tom Melia, with whom he discussed the election results and the future role of the Democratic Party as the country's main opposition force. President Berisha expressed his firm position that after the appointment of the new government he would move into the opposition leadership and his determination that the PD would play the role of a strong, constructive and loyal opposition to the values of democracy. Melia praised President Berisha's and the Democratic Party's stance for a constructive and loyal role in opposition and expressed the readiness of the American Democratic Institute to continue, in the existing tradition, cooperation with the PD in various fields. IDA has long been following developments in Albania and had a number of observers in the 29 June elections.

The new government in continuous reform

Very latest breaking news Candidates for ministerial posts in Nano 3's government are being notified to tie concrete promises to the prime minister so as not to move from the offered chair. According to the revolutionary list for each day, the government is in reform. Meanwhile, amid tensions and pressure at the top of the PS, one can seek a ministerial portfolio of a ministry that may be sought especially for you. For example, for the Ministry of Justice, Nano has two big debts, one to his lawyer, one to the legal expert of the Central Election Commission. So he is obliged to create the Ministry of Justice as a sticky variant of justice and injustices. Thus, the Ministry of Divorced Women will also be created, the Ministry of the Defense of Neighbors and innovation, the ministry of old men with the girl, the ministry of territorial abandonment, and the ministry of the ? and the ?
