Yesterday, not only 100,000, but more people descended into the center of Tirana to listen to President Berisha. It clearly declared that Albania cannot remain under the government of corruption and that, with the voice of protest, it can change its own fate. The same feeling swept through Tirana and the country yesterday. This government no longer has any chance to govern normally. It has entered into conflict with the citizens and with their hope.

Here irresponsible appeals were made to the police and to everyone tasked with enforcing the law, to fight against the PD and against the opposition. Its authors pounced on the rally’s organizers, which itself contains a threat and an unbridled delirium of revenge. Thousands upon thousands of free citizens, who yesterday told the government of smuggling “Go away,” are perfectly in line with the constitution, the law and moral and civic ethics. They protested for an Albania that is falling into the abyss of corruption, the arms mafia, misery and tyranny. They are the face of this country exhausted and ruined by this power.
