Majko is in trouble from the start
The opposition is back in the protest squares. Thousands of citizens in "Skënderbej" Square are demanding genuine political elections and are against the governments of Fatos Nano's weapons
Coalition talks for the new government are blocked. Gaqo Apostoli, who shares the money with Nano and Gjinushi, turns out to be the ally. Ndre Legisi will replace Fatos Klosi at the head of SHIK. The chairman of the Committee of Victory, Petro Koçi, will be Minister of Order
Albania is governed with puppets
Since the passivity of the country is failing and the excesses of the Socialist Party demand justification before public opinion, Nano's delegated prime minister has asked the world to understand one thing: the opposition is still far from being a determining factor in Albania. He distributed yesterday's press office messages to the left and right. If the flow of Kosovar refugees is alarming Western capitals over the possible consequences in Albania, if foreign reports state that the Albanian economy is still in collapse, if the map of Albanian drug trafficking and corruption continues to expand and compromises the country before Western public opinion, if the violent political crisis that brought down yesterday's government could repeat itself, this happens for one major reason: in Albania, the kind of political class that is always capable of compromising with crime is in power. If we were to continue illustrating the sinister chain of alliances that govern the country, it would be necessary to repeat the long list of names and scandals of recent months. The folk-style speech that Nano's delegated prime minister made to foreign correspondents in Tirana is the freshest illustration of this political vulgarity. He did not tell foreign opinion that the country had been governed for a year and a half by gangs and killers, but by two coalition parties. He did not say that he himself came to power after a bloody coup and not as a product of the vote. The opposition, the only movement that continues to oppose this chaos, is certainly not the main cause of Albanian misery. The thousands of citizens gathered yesterday in "Skënderbej" Square at the invitation of the united opposition were not holding anti-American placards or Iraqi flags. They are asking the world not to feed illusions to the regime that has sprouted on the ruins of the rule of law and the market economy. If one analyses the slogans of the protest, it is striking that they are completely normal for an opposition that sees the country every day sinking deeper into the abyss of autocracy, poverty and anti-Westernism. The streets of Albania are today filled with poverty, insecurity and institutional indifference. The so-called stability that the government seeks to sell to the world is only a propaganda mask. The country is not ruled by the rule of law, but by political bargaining. Albanians are not governed by responsible institutions, but by puppets. Simones PEPOSHI

The government protects the killers of Azem Hajdari
Today, 9 days after the killing of the leader of December
Since the killing of Azem Hajdari, symbol of anti-communist resistance, citizens throughout the country have honored him with the same dignity and calm. Meanwhile, the police and prosecutorial bodies still continue to deal with the opposition, instead of searching for the criminals and the real perpetrators, the killers. On the shoulders of the Socialist government and its administration today rests a heavy political and moral responsibility. So far, there has still been no serious action to uncover the crime that shocked the entire country. All signs indicate that there is an effort to cover up traces and divert the investigations away from the real perpetrators. The government is protecting the killers of Azem Hajdari.
Brojka: Nano treats me as an opponent
Local power openly demonstrated yesterday that it is against Nano and his allied forces. We asked them to develop this approach in politics and in government. Where is such a path leading? It is not the same to treat a normal person as an opponent and to treat a government that has taken over before, then the government and then the others. With the [e?] of all s[?]azons. PAGE 2
