About a month after Azem Hajdari’s murder, there is no sign that the criminals will be brought to justice for the bloodshed in the square in front of the Democratic Party of Tirana. On the contrary, they are free, more relocated and more heavily guarded than anyone else, and no one intends to make them even a scapegoat or fall guy for a murder that shook not only Albania but the entire Albanian world. The senior State Police officers who committed the heinous crime, besides being responsible for and paid for the blood of the December leader, have also received every guarantee that no one will touch them as long as Fatos Nano’s clan is in power. But why aren’t Azem Hajdari’s killers being arrested? They will never stand trial and will remain free as long as the people who ordered the murder are in government and at the highest levels of the state. It makes no difference who the Minister of the Interior is or who the Minister of Justice is; in a state ruled by Fatos Nano’s Macbeth-like shadow, there is a puppet prime minister and an equally puppet president. Even if, instead of Perikli Teuta, they appointed one person after another every time they were replaced on September 14, choosing the person most willing to carry out orders, he would never help the crime that took from us the Hero and symbol of Albanian democracy. This is all the more painful for Albanians now that it is known that at the head of the police officers in blue uniforms is the chief commissioner of Fier, who personally sent all the city’s institutions during the riots of last year’s rebellion; Petro Koçi, who began his new job by killing and arresting the sister of Azem Hajdari’s bodyguard, who lost his life alongside the December leader on the black night of September 12, and by intensifying the terror against the opposition, is the best guarantee not only for Hajdari’s killers but for all the criminals mobilized against the opposition. But this government should know that Azem Hajdari’s unforgettable blood will shake it every Saturday, however wretched it may be. By concealing the truth and removing from the prosecution [?] his killers, who have proper names, these chiefs, these chiefs and Majko’s fanaticism, may have had no knowledge of the crime before it happened. But if his predecessor, Fatos Nano, was also in some way responsible for preparing the murder of the Martyr and Hero of the Albanian nation and the Democratic Party, Fatos Nano can never escape responsibility for the crime he wants to cover up with the criminal minister and the government cabinet, unless it is fully solved. This government must abandon all the State Security’s methods for erasing traces of the crime, from transferring Milano’s criminals to the [?] of the hero and citizens killed today alongside the December leader. If the SHIK, now placed under these police officers directed by Fatos Nano, has found the names of Azem Hajdari’s killers in order to silence them, if their many comrades have issued orders on other occasions, changing names and others, if the criminals throughout the [?] language are threatening to suppress those who speak about Azem Hajdari’s murder, and if the criminals are connected with his movement, since eyewitnesses saw the criminals with their own eyes and they cannot finally disappear, the money paid should make it clear that the killers and murderers are the real ones who committed this heinous crime, which has further discredited Albanian crime. It is a clear signal that this government is dangerous, made up of the people who killed Azem Hajdari. From this comes the wave of this government’s [?], Nano, who has only said in recent days that he will be prime minister of continuity. The criminals who rejoiced after the massacre of Azem Hajdari will be punished and will receive the punishment they deserve only when the whole [?] of the actors who are trying to conceal the crime has been explained; otherwise, they will not know what is happening here. “RD”

Today, 26 days since the murder of the December Leader Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of Fatos Nano’s government and its heartlessness in the crime that shook the entire Albanian world. The governments of former communists, which leave free and unpunished the criminals who took the life of the December Leader, show Albanians that they have been and remain on the side of the killers, who have names and surnames but are untouched by those in power. Democrats and all Albanians who loved and honored Azem Hajdari cannot tolerate this fact under any circumstances. The government must either arrest the criminals and bring them to justice, or publicly declare that it itself committed Azem Hajdari’s murder.
