More than 1.2 million Albanians did not vote for the constitution
Opposition commissioners at KOY announced the full referendum result
Ceka: After the emergence of parallel lists, announcements by parallel commissions, now the authorities are preparing to invent unlawful hour-by-hour results for the referendum, based on manipulations and violations of the law....
At yesterday’s session before the media, the chairman of the PDK parliamentary group, Ylli Vejsiu, said that "out of a total of 2,496,319 voters, 1,075,455 electors took part in the vote, or 43.08 percent, while 1,420,864 electors, or 56.92 percent, did not vote".
Mr. Vejsiu stated that "based on the data collected by our commissioners in 2,581 voting centers out of 4,707 in total, 42.57 percent of voters took part in the vote, or 57.43 percent did not vote".
He further said that, according to the preliminary data that our commissioners are submitting to the Central Election Commission, "according to the general voting table, the publication of manipulated data with absolutely no legal value is continuing; this statement published today by the CEC is highly provocative and contains clearly political tones".
Mr. Vejsiu said that "these manipulations by the authorities are being carried out in order to legitimize the referendum farce and deceive public opinion inside and outside the country, since hundreds of polling stations and district commissions have been affected by irregularities, violence and police pressure".
He emphasized that "our commissioners throughout the country have identified blatant cases of violation of electoral law, discrepancies between the number of voters and the ballots, manipulation of ballot boxes, and disregard for opposition representatives".
According to him, "the real result is that more than 1.2 million Albanians did not vote for the constitution".

At the beginning of this conference, Mr. Luan Dobi said that the opposition representatives in Elbasan are following with great attention the entire voting process and the counting of votes. In this district there have been numerous violations and manipulations with the voter lists and the minutes. According to Mr. Dobi, the minutes initially had 3 copies, while on the second day they were reduced to 2 copies. This was done so that changes could be made through photocopies according to the interests of the PS.
