Berisha offers condolences to the families of the Otranto victims
The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, sent a message of condolence to the families who lost their loved ones in the waters of Otranto. It says:
The message expresses his and the Democratic Party's profound sorrow and conveys their deepest condolences waters of Otranto.
The Otranto tragedies that came along with the mafia in power, which shares in the trafficking of people, are a powerful call to all Albanians to restore hope and faith in Albania, to get it out of the crossroads where today's rulers and their anti-Albanian patrons are keeping it, the message says.
Sharing with all of you the pain for the loved ones who are no longer among us, Lili, my wife, and I offer our prayer that the souls of your innocent people may rest in eternal peace, the condolence message concludes.
The government protects Azem Hajdari's killers
Today, 77 days since the murder of the December Leader
Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of Fatos Nano's government and its successor in the crime that shook the entire Albanian world. The government of the former communists, which has left the criminals who took the life of the December Leader at large and unrestrained, shows Albanians that they have been and remain on the side of the killers, who have names and identities but are untouched by those in power. Democrats and all Albanians who loved and honored Azem Hajdari can never tolerate this. The government must either capture the criminals and bring them to justice, or publicly declare that it itself committed the murder of Azem Hajdari.

Everts: ODIHR too will put it above 50 percent
The OSCE observation mission must clarify what lies behind Everts's statements
The OSCE ambassador in Tirana, Daan Everts, has asked opposition members of the Central Voting Commission to sign Davor Çano's results, since, according to him, ODIHR would also produce a similar figure, just over 50 percent. An opposition member of the CVK told “RD” yesterday that he had been very surprised by Mr Everts's request, but especially by his statement that the OSCE observers for the referendum intended to deal with the results of the November 22 vote as well. If this were true, it would seriously compromise their observation mission and even cast doubt on the entire process, because it would sound like a result decided in advance, before Albanians went to the ballot boxes.
Mr Everts's request leaves a bitter taste of scandal, since the facts about the extensive manipulation that led to a drastic increase in the referendum turnout on the Constitution are well known. The OSCE ambassador in Tirana has been at the center of criticism for his one-sided involvement in the campaign to ratify the Constitution, while he has tried to excuse himself by claiming that he did not call for a “yes” vote. A few days ago, the right-wing press published a letter Mr Everts had sent to his superiors in Vienna, which used harsh language against the Democratic Party. Yesterday, he was seen taking part in Meidani's signing of the Constitution, as if he were one of its major contributors.
The aforementioned statement about ODIHR also setting the results is the new issue centering on the OSCE ambassador in Tirana. In this case, ODIHR must state whether what Everts said is true and whether he is authorized to make such statements, which gravely offend Albania and the Albanians.

“Honor of the Nation” for the independent radio
The Democratic Party strongly condemns Meidani's decision to decorate “Radio Tirana”
The title “Honor of the Nation” bestowed on Radio Tirana, without first condemning its activities, during which it was the shame of the nation, can only be awarded by an irresponsible president.
The Organizational Secretary of the Democratic Party, Vili Minarolli, denounced the decoration of Radio Tirana by the President of the Republic with the “Honor of the Nation” medal as a grave insult to all Albanians.
The head of state, Vili Minarolli stressed, committed an irresponsible act, gravely offending freedom-loving sentiments and the sacrifices and suffering of thousands upon thousands of Albanians in the gulags of the Hoxhaist dictatorship. Radio Tirana, as the deceitful voice of the party-state, psychologically terrorized them for 50 years and insulted the entire Albanian nation and its freedom-loving spirit.
Radio Tirana was the Hoxhaist clique's true institution of psychological persecution against Albanians. It was the megaphone of deception aimed at Albanians outside the borders of the Albanian state.
By decorating Radio Tirana with the Order of “Honor of the Nation,” the dishonorable president dishonors the Albanian nation. He also gravely insults the people's feelings, especially those of people to whom this medal, presented by the authorities, sends messages through the lowest means and whose cause it championed; it supported extremist terrorist groups such as the “brigate rosse” in Italy, terrorist groups in Germany, and left-wing extremists throughout the world.
With this decoration, the Albanian President, a member of the communist nomenklatura, laid claim to the communist past and marked another major step in rehabilitating that past.
In denouncing the President's politically irresponsible action, the Democratic Party in no way denies the valuable contribution of the journalists, orchestra and singers, as well as all the staff of Radio Tirana, in the fields of culture and journalism. It in no way denies their valuable contribution in the service of the communist dictatorship and the transformations they have made to become an open radio station. irresponsible president.

The Constitution of the Committees
The Constitution that Meidani signed yesterday is yet another precedent in the field of the country's document made its way to the office of the President of the Republic by passing through the floods of March 28 last year, when an agreement was signed in Vlora with the committees to overthrow the constitutional order in Albania. It came via the Tepelena meeting, where autonomy for the south was decided, followed by union with Greece. It passed through the hands of Imami and Godo, the two men who drafted the platform for cooperation with the committees that signed the agreement and decided to continue the fight with Kalashnikovs against Albanian institutions.
The Constitution arrived by way of dates of shame and the people who nurtured that shame until they placed it on the desk of the President of the Republic, himself also one of the protagonists of last March 28.
Now the autumn March has found itself in many of the Constitution's articles, proclaiming it to be a constitution that came about through the rehabilitation of gangsters, murderers, Albania's army[?]. It has done so especially in Articles 28 and 20, where human rights and centuries-old national rights are now found not only on the boulevard, at the door of secession, on the street or in a car, but also in the Constitution.
By signing it yesterday, President Meidani also cemented the gangster character of today's government, of which the Constitution and the President's signature are products. This is also the nature of its path: killing people and state officials in Vlora, making Imami, chairman of the Constitutional Commission, a general, and having the other chairman, Godo, have his neck broken in front of bandits; the other chairman Godo, in front of bandits, has set out to extend the criminalization of the entire country and Albanian society.
In the Constitution we find the history of the committees that killed and butchered more than 4,000 people, looted their merchants, spread fear among people, ruined businesses and people's peace of mind, and brought crime onto the streets, destroying every prospect of having a normal society in this country. This part of the shame was overcome by society with Kalashnikovs.
Now, through distorted and manipulated votes in Mikovë[?], stolen and manipulated votes in the referendum, and the presidential signature, Albanians have to carry this around their necks too: the product of, and the burden of, the brutality of the street and the sale of the government and parliamentary mafia.
The two men who led the Constitutional Commission contradicted the heads they had[?] in its articles; they have placed in its articles the heads they had with the committees[?]. The codes and the entire Constitution tie it to street gangs, Socialist Party gangs, and traffickers in people, money and narcotics. It is no less than the anti-national declaration of March 28, or that of the Tepelena meeting, which placed this document belonging to Albanians in the hands of political and common gangsters, and put national security at the service of the primitive nationalism of the past in the Balkans—that is, an initiative that also included the Crete Agreement for the exchange of the era[?], or other agreements that today put Kosovo, or hundreds of Albanians, up for auction, auction after auction.
