The fishing boat found yesterday on the Italian shores. The second one departed from Vlora with 20 clandestine migrants. It was the one that for the first time took on a tragic appearance. Four are dead; the body of the fifth, an unidentified person, is floating nearby in the sea. The searches continued last night. The first boat sunk in the Otranto Channel had departed on Sunday morning from Vlora and 20 people were aboard. From 6 p.m. on Sunday, Albanians and Italians were searching for them even by helicopter. By last night, 18 rescued bodies and 4 dead had been found, while two others were missing. During the night the fifth body, a woman, was spotted by a distant light. The sixth body is still missing. Meanwhile, the Italian police has set up checkpoints on all roads to stop the rescued clandestine migrants.

It is learned that in one of the rooms of the red school[?] where they were staying, at noon the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of Albania, Sabri Godo, arrived on the occasion. It is also learned that in the premises where the protest was continuing, from 13:00 the head of SHIK, Arben Karkini, appeared. The purpose of the visit was to talk with those confined there about ending the hunger strike. Criminals celebrating the rebellion
Criminals
celebrating the
rebellion
In the late hours of the previous evening, in Paskuqan[?], Babl[?], as well as in the other main places where last year's rebellion took place, people with criminal records organized a celebration. According to testimonies, there were gunshots, drinks, and calls in support of the former uprising. The article mentions Vora, the old Tirana-Durrës road, and other areas where armed gangs operated during last year's unrest. According to local residents, the party was organized in a demonstrative way to mark the anniversary of the rebellion. In some cases, chants against the state were also heard. The article emphasizes that instead of being punished, the organizers of the rebellion and the robberies of that time are openly celebrating. At the end it is mentioned that on the boulevard of Paskuqan[?] and towards Kamëz, cars carrying armed people were circulating.
