Nano - governments deepen the crisis

PD deputies vote in favor of Hajdaraga and Meta The government number threatens PD deputy Pal Dajçi Fino: I will dismiss the bodyguards The United States and the Italian government clearly told the Nano government team not to “play” with creating an institutional crisis. As the marathon session of yesterday’s People's Assembly in Tirana continued, beyond the harsh debate and extreme tension that gripped the chamber, in all likelihood the situation shifted to parliamentary voting on candidates for vacant posts. Prime Minister Nano and PPD deputy Vasil Melo discussed one of the members of the High Council of Justice, while the head of the PS parliamentary group, Namik Dokle, insisted on some kind of agreement over the disputed names. There were also threatening statements and sharp exchanges in the chamber, in which PD deputy Pal Dajçi and other reactions from the socialist camp were mentioned. In the end, the parliamentary majority and opposition deputies voted for Hajdaraga and Meta. ON PAGE 3

The obituary of “Nano 4” is being drafted

A passage from an article in the Greek newspaper “Apogevmatini”, titled “The political enemies of Prime Minister Nano are preparing the funeral of the government...” Berdimen, three high-ranking government officials recall it with biological rhythm? and with the daily updating of the poqisja in “stundrimit”. Aseshi does not maintain a firm position of rejection, but in maturity and thought is weighed with atcën of the matter with the slap? of the chancellery. It is just now becoming concrete? in these intrigues? in an opinion? and it has? that it is difficult for? to go? more always and not very much? to this? and? the socialist government in power. Meanwhile, on the Albanian political scene, with the proposed changes to the government cabinet, a new climate is apparently emerging, not so favorable for Prime Minister Fatos Nano. After a relatively long period in which the opposition has been demanding his resignation, signs of dissatisfaction are now also appearing within the majority. Trimi? after five months of governing, the country? is still drifting in a deep political and economic crisis. Finally, also under international pressure, the prime minister was forced to give some signals for a reshaping of the cabinet. However, according to the Greek newspaper’s commentary, these moves are nothing more than an attempt to gain time. Instead of addressing the fundamental problems, cosmetic changes are being offered. The article emphasizes that Nano’s opponents are numerous, not only in the opposition but also among his allies. Disagreements with various political figures and the gradual loss of authority are mentioned. If this situation continues, then, according to the Greek daily, the end of “Nano 4” may be accelerated.
