Yesterday, the farewell ceremony
Minister Koçi is concerned only about his chair
Koçi has “forgotten” that he is supposed to be the chief public prosecutor and has started to revolt because SHIK does not obey the orders he calls “popular.”
BY Edi PALOKA
The standard of behavior and language, from the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister down to the Minister of the Interior, seems to be below any possible level. According to the same scale of shamelessness toward the state and the law, and the same degree of ignorance with which the government and its leader were making unconstitutional and anti-state statements and taking unconstitutional and anti-state actions against the head of SHIK, now it is the Minister of the Interior’s turn.
Koçi, worried that he still has not managed to put the head of SHIK on a bench as well, and outraged by the “disobedience” of the employees of this institution who do not draw their weapons before policemen, has addressed the press and the public with a declaration that is as absurd as it is ridiculous. To be convinced of this, one only needs to read Minister Koçi’s statement from yesterday.
After saying that “for several weeks SHIK chiefs have been distributing drugs, prostitution, smuggling and tax evasion,” the minister gives no name, no fact, no document. This is the government’s usual way of mudslinging the institutions it cannot control.
If the minister has evidence, let him take it to the prosecutor’s office and to court. Otherwise, he is only slandering and shirking his duty. It is not the Minister of the Interior’s job to play investigator and judge from the podium of press conferences.
Koçi is not worried about public order, about crime, about the insecurity that has covered the country, but about the fact that SHIK is not obeying political orders. That is the essence of his reaction.
This minister does not understand that state institutions are not personal tools of power. He behaves like a party spokesman and not like a minister. Instead of accounting for the grave state of public order, he զբաղles himself with political attacks.
Public opinion expects clarity, responsibility and law, not political hysteria and empty declarations.
Maliu: primary leadership with Albanians
The government and the opposition are still officially of one mind about not approving it yet
The no-approval movement continues. At that point everything intensifies until September. On Thursday, the parliamentary group leader in Tetovo declared that the Macedonian government has not moved away from its old course against Albanians. The reason is clear: Albanians are demanding equal rights and real participation in decision-making.

Himç and Tirana take hostage balaver
But where is the big cadre that is missing and feeds them after betrayal?
The state still cannot establish order on the agenda and is feeding the killing of regular repression. Every day events come to the stage that show the failure of institutions. The analysis of the situation remains harsh and the fundamental question is who has left the country without security mechanisms.
