The closest technical collaborator of the President of Kosovo, Ibrahim Rugova, and the man who served him at the same time as his bodyguard and personal photographer for 15 years, Adnan Mervoviç, gives a detailed account of President Rugova’s efforts so far to escape Serbian terror, of which Mervoviç himself was an eyewitness. President Rugova called the editorial office yesterday. “In the house where he is being held prisoner, there are Montenegrins and a young soldier staying. As soon as I heard them, I went up to the door. I insisted and asked about the letter he had sent. ‘We came to free him.’
Morovci in another name was surprising for the editorial office. “We were very interested in Rugova’s circle,” that was the first statement slipped into the conversation. Ibrahim Rugova and he were secured by a telephone conversation with the editorial office, thanks to and because of the political difficulties of President Rugova. Mervoviçi of President Ibrahim Rugova by phone with the editorial office said Mervoviçi that Rugova manages to control it by phone with the editorial office. “The first thing was to call the editorial office of ‘Evropa e Lire’; the phone had been cut off for three days, but with his persistence and day after day Mervoviçi of the presidency reported that ‘he insisted strongly and has insisted on conveying his words by phone. He insisted a lot on speaking with the journalists of ‘Evropa e Lire’.
“No, no, he has not given a statement. But do not prolong it now because we have no flow at home.” Up to here Mervoviçi was sure that he could not benefit from the editorial office.
“If in any way you can talk, if you want you can give it.” “Whenever you want later.” “Ija ta e tu” was noted, occupied and paid.”

Two days after NATO’s bombardments, the house of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Sllobodan Millosheviç, is hit as well. A television station with this military objective announced for the first time yesterday. The strike came after several powerful explosions in the villa district where Millosheviçi lives. In his house, the whereabouts had disappeared, saying that his family was hiding in bunkers. The air strikes, which have begun in recent days against military and political targets in Serbia, have sparked international debate over the effects of the bombings against the Belgrade regime.
