The President of Kosovo is asking Belgrade to implement NATO’s conditions. Yesterday, the meeting with the Pope, soon in Washington, London and Paris
In an interview with BBC, Mr. Ibrahim Rugova stated that no agreement has yet been reached with Milošević to force peace. Rugova has made it clear that the final solution for Kosovo is its independence. He has asked Belgrade to accept NATO’s conditions for stopping ethnic cleansing and returning the refugees.
Rugova then met the Pope in the Vatican and, according to reports, is expected to visit Washington, London and Paris soon.
In another development, the former Interior Minister accuses the power structures in Albania of being run by gangs.
