Terrorists in SHIK and the Presidency
Once again, SHIK and other state sectors have unleashed psychological terror against Albanian citizens, burdening them with yet another fear and anxiety amid this ongoing crisis that has lasted for two years.
The official press’s announcements over two consecutive days about destabilization and unrest in Albania have the same author of the script, the same rehearsal as last year, when, as a result of the secret service and the climate of terror it created, the streets of Tirana emptied for several days. Nothing happened on those days, but it is clear that Azem Hajdari was murdered. SHIK announced his murder around two weeks earlier, just as these reports appeared in the official press for two days, to prepare for another possible murder.
This time, the destabilizing part of the Albanian state has chosen its field, extending its actions to the thousands of people expelled from Kosovo who are now throughout the country.
In the coming days, Serbs are expected to be relocated; among them, those designated as such will be taken by SHIK agents, Socialist Party gangs and the mafia clans that control it, and no one knows what will happen to them. Naturally, they will all be the most nationalist people, not those whom SHIK says are funded by Bin Laden, or whom Fatos Nano calls terrorists.
The same scheme will also be used against opposition activists and leaders. In a few days, two weeks will have passed since some of them, including journalists, were [detained]. The whole scenario aims to imprison those accused by Rexhep Meidani’s political prosecutor’s office, arrest dozens more, and perhaps even kill someone who refuses to accept the dictates the secret service seeks to impose on politics, the economy, culture, and so on.
Such scenarios, unprecedented in Albania’s pluralist history, have emerged on the margins of power under the Socialists and through their use of the secret service. SHIK’s threats, along with those of foreign Eastern services such as the Serbian and Russian services, aim to frighten people through psychological attacks. The latest action against the Kosovars, with [unclear] opposition clothing and the use of undesirable elements, was described as a rehearsal for a general operation against the 450,000 Kosovars as well, most of them nationalists and intellectuals.
With its anti-Albanian sources, SHIK managed to close the American embassy in Tirana by attributing a destabilizing spirit to it and making it the target of a possible attack by Islamic terrorism. Through scenarios fabricated by the offices of Mendimi and Klosi, SHIK spent nearly a year preparing Albania as a center of world terrorism, putting hundreds of thousands of Albanians in this position, both as its pawns and on an international stage. But through SHIK’s scenario efforts, Albanian citizens have experienced fear and anxiety, while seeing and understanding that all these terrifying situations were staged to make them witness terror and, above all, to destroy Albania and its relations with others. Naturally, none of this will ever succeed. The opposition is at odds only with the anti-Albanian elements of SHIK, the government or other institutions—with those parts of the state that are trying to undermine the cause of Kosovo, Albania and Albanians wherever they live, and their unity as a nation and state.
SHIK has its own ways of destabilizing the country; Albanians and the state will prevent such a thing. The desire to destroy Albanian democracy stems from the evil that has befallen [the country]; there will be no [unclear] to [unclear]. It is not SHIK that has brought the UDB to Tirana. The UDB destroyed all of Albania for Milošević’s propaganda, and they are implementing his scenario for regional destabilization, to such an extent that it makes them even more popular.
The [unclear] public, speaking secretly around the world, says it will terrorize hundreds of thousands of Albanians on the stated date, just as SHIK declares it will do so from 24 to 26 May. The secret service should make its files public, in which it criminalizes other parts of society, just as SHIK does when it declares that agents and terrorists are in various political groups, lumping them together with arrivals from Kosovo. This is a sector of the state that punishes and targets its own people with mass terror, as SHIK has been doing for two days through demonstrations. But one must be Gebels and an apprentice at the effort to claim to be a democrat, while being the [unclear] of the country and of Albanian democracy, under the President of the Republic and Albanian SHIK.
