Whoever flies over Albania is at risk
Three former ANTA leaders and a director from the Ministry of Transport handed over on Monday in the USA, to the Ministry of Justice, a voluminous file containing financial abuses and legal violations. These documents present facts about illegal activity in Albanian civil aviation and the political use of the institution.
From the discussions of the national council members it becomes clear that the clash within the left is deepening. Nano, back on the scene with the old committee structures, is trying to challenge Majko's government, while in the background the civil aviation union strike continues.
Brussels has imposed severe restrictions on flights over Albania, citing the lack of safety standards. This measure risks isolating the country at the height of the summer season and further deepens the institutional crisis. The issue of lost money and responsibility for it is becoming the محور of the political debate.

Berisha, during a meeting with the US ambassador, Frowick
Following yesterday's relations and talks, the chairman of the Democratic Party, Mr. Sali Berisha, received yesterday at the headquarters of this party the US Ambassador to Albania, Mr. Frowick.
During this conversation Berisha expressed to the ambassador his concern about the political situation in the country and the need for democratic standards, for functioning institutions and for the holding of free and fair elections. The meeting also discussed Kosovo and the involvement of the international factor in the region.
The Democratic Party valued the importance of relations with the USA as a priority of its policy and called for support in strengthening Albanian democracy.
The non-governance of the socialists
The non-governance
of the socialists
29 June of this year brings the socialists the black figure after which comes another April. Despite the shallow propaganda with which they want to cover up the failures to date in government, most Albanians feel the dysfunction of the state on their own skin. This incapable government cannot even manage normality, let alone meet the challenges of the time.
The current power has been alarmed by the energy crisis, the decline in public order, the growing misery and the citizens' lack of trust. On 29 June, it will be two years since the formation of the government that emerged from the manipulated elections, and its balance sheet is negative. Despite the promises, the country has entered a dead-end road.
People are leaving the country, the economy is dragging, the administration is politicized and institutions do not provide guarantees. The socialists have built a model of rule that has left citizens without protection and without hope. All indicators show that this governance is unable to produce order, welfare and justice.
If it were not for propaganda, only the bitter reality of unemployment, hidden inflation, corruption and fear would remain. This is non-governance. And for this, responsibility lies with the socialists and their prime minister.

The government protects Azem Hajdari's killers
Today, nine months will have passed since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the democratic leader, one of the most prominent figures of the December movement. His murder remains unsolved and the responsible parties have not been brought before justice.
In memory of this event, it is emphasized that the state institutions have not done their duty and that the government is protecting the perpetrators of the crime instead of uncovering the truth. This accusation is repeated as evidence of the crisis of justice and of its political capture.
