The successive meetings on corruption in the new government cabinet are no different from what the anti-corruption committee did under its head, the current prime minister Ilir Meta. The insistence of the new government officials on circulating through the labyrinths of corruption looks more like a market contest than the drawing up of a plan to fight it. Finance Minister Anastas Angjeli yesterday sent all customs offices and tax offices a letter with 23 requests, calling on them to meet the plan set for this year, plus the deficit that has been created under Angjeli’s own leadership

Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of Fatos Nano’s government and its successor in the crime that shook the entire Albanian world.
The government of the former communists, which goes about freely and undisturbed, [?] those who took the life of the December Leader, showing Albanians that they have been and are on the side of the killers, who have specific names but are not touched by those in power.
