The Socialists, an ideology for the Pact

editorial By Sami NEZA The Socialist Party is issuing increasingly frequent reports about Fatos Nano’s so-called initiative for the Stability Pact. These days, visits by him to Montenegro and Kosovo are expected, while he has already made visits with this aim to Bulgaria and Macedonia. In every case, Nano has promoted such an initiative as a left-wing pact, attempting to strip it of its true essence, which is the reconstruction of peace and the economy in the Balkans, not the restructuring and glorification of the Balkan left on page 3

The government protects Azem Hajdari’s killers

Today, 458 days since the murder of the December Leader Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of Fatos Nano’s government and his responsibility in the crime that shocked the entire Albanian world. The government of the former communists, headed by Fatos Nano, is obstructing the investigation into the murder of the December Leader, giving the killers room to operate; they have been and remain on the side of crime, and are individuals with names, yet the authorities leave them untouched. Democrats and all honest and conscientious Albanians can in no way tolerate this fact about Azem Hajdari. The government must either answer to justice for the criminality, or publicly declare that it itself committed the murder of Azem Hajdari
