The robbery of the Kraba treasury

Millions of dollars were in the tunnel safes The keys and codes were held, partly by the Ministry of Public Order, and the rest by the Bank of Albania By Mero BAZE The Albanian Minister of Interior, Spartak Poçi, has asked that the renewed coalition of the most hard-line followers of Premtos Nano and Socialist Prime Minister Ilir Meta revoke the special order TV “Koha” reported yesterday that Mr. Poçi, who stated in the parliamentary forum that the theft of the treasury was being investigated, had assigned this task to his Public Order Police officer, part of whose actions are still not being investigated, has not filed the corresponding complaint with the Prosecutor’s Office and has accused the unannounced judges of being hostile, while three months after returning to Albania, the former depoliticized police chief repeats his first impossible reaction. From the evening of the theft of the treasury until last night, “Topi i Mollës”, thousands of pages of documents and orders, there is no signature or order for opening the depots in Pershqit. According to sources, a group of gendarmes, who made no special requests for the closing of the armaments factory tunnels, appeared late at night and took several heavy vehicles with crates out of the Kraba tunnels. Government attempt to re-confirm the year 1997

By Mero BAZE The Albanian Minister of Interior, Spartak Poçi, has ordered a highly informal commission to find out the owners of the car used by the killer of MP Azem Hajdari. Yesterday’s press close to the government presented it as a kind of “scenario for the protests TV “Koha” reported yesterday that Mr. Poçi had ordered the tracking of the vehicles of a Socialist Party deputy on the grounds that he knew the owner. The involvement of the police in tracking down a car in order to clarify a murder that is under investigation is a blatant violation of any normal procedure. What makes this complicated event look even more ridiculous is the attempt to link it to the PD protests, for which the police have ample evidence that they are under control. Moreover, the government’s reaction to this story is completely inconsistent with its conduct on other security issues. If there had been a real concern about a destabilizing scenario, the reaction would have been completely different. The government protects the killers of Azem Hajdari
