For the municipality of Sarandë, the leadership decided to add Skënder Bajrami’s candidacy alongside those of Arben Gugu, Stefan Gurma and Lefter Gjini. The vote will be held by all DP members in the city of Sarandë.
For the municipality of Delvinë, the candidates are Pellumb Ibrahimhi and Bashkim Meçe.
For the municipality of Patos, the candidates are Ylli Saliaj and Agron Hajdini.
For the municipality of Përmet, the candidates are Bashkim Vasku and Haki Polisi. The vote will be held by all DP members in the city of Përmet.
The candidacies for the municipality of Librazhd have not yet been approved, but the DP leadership decided that all DP members in the city of Librazhd will vote to select the candidate.

The government protects Azem’s killers
Today, 713 days since the murder of the December leader
Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of the government of Fatos Nano and his successor in the crime that shook the entire Albanian world.
The government of the former communists, which allows the criminals who took the December Leader’s life to remain free and unapprehended, shows Albanians that it has been and remains on the side of the killers, whose identities are known but whom those in power do not touch. Democrats and all Albanians who loved and honored Azem Hajdari can under no circumstances tolerate this. The government must either capture the criminals and bring them to justice, or publicly declare that it itself carried out the murder of Azem Hajdari.
