TIRANA

*** TIRANA The tribute ceremony for the pretender to the royal throne, Leka Zogu, who passed away three days ago, has turned into an “apple of discord” between the Speaker of Parliament, Jozefina Topalli, and the Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha. Who would be the person to deliver the speech in front of Leka Zogu's coffin was the conflict between the two politicians. “Get lost” were the loud words of the Speaker of Parliament Jozefina Topalli to Mayor Basha, which were also heard publicly by all those present at the funeral ceremony. But that was not all. The ceremony was delayed for several minutes before Basha began to speak, and it was claimed that there were sound system problems. Godo between property and the Constitution

Editorial BY ANILA BASHA Godo between property and the Constitution Politician Sabri Godo has left this life with two great unfinished issues, for which he fought during these 20 years of democracy, but never managed to see strong, solid, and resolved: Property and the Constitution. It was the time when the opposition (PD) was relentlessly condemning him in the media, through articles and pieces with and without names, as the man who was giving Nano the “red passport”. My colleague Krasniqi, in the analysis two days ago, mentioned the fact that important figures in political and public life are condemned while alive, but are honored after death. Today, everyone, left and right, in the condolence messages they give for politician Sabri Godo, recall his very valuable contribution to the founding document of the state, that document, which they honor as... continued on page 5
