NEXHMIJE HOXHA
Through this statement, I inform the media and the public opinion of Albania and of all Albanians, wherever they may be, that: In the State Archive of the Republic of Albania, the original handwritten political and family diaries of Enver Hoxha, as well as the original handwritten memoirs of his, have disappeared. When this unprecedented criminal act occurred, we do not know. This fact was only established recently, when the family, concerned because in some television programs and in the press some publicist was being spoken of and writing that he possessed documents from Enver Hoxha’s personal archive, sent their representative to the Central State Archive, Teuta Hoxha, who searched the relevant fonds and files, where it turned out that the original manuscripts were missing. This finding was brought to the attention of the Director of the State Archive, who, after carrying out her own verification, officially informed us with letters No. 5336/1 dated 14-12-2011 and No. 3112/11 dated 27-12-2011 about the non-existence... continued on pages 2-3

The distribution of blame
Editorial BY ALBIN KURTI The distribution of blame On 24 July 2006 negotiations with Serbia over Kosovo’s status began. Since February of that year, negotiations on technical, non-status issues had been under way, and about five months later those negotiations turned into political negotiations over Kosovo’s status. So the negotiations on technical issues served only to relax the situation and prepare the ground for negotiations toward determining Kosovo’s political status. With those negotiations, the parties sat at the table without conditions for Serbia and launched negotiations on Kosovo’s internal issues, even though it was said that they were only technical matters. The so-called negotiations on technical issues were now fully instrumentalized in function of what would follow - political negotiations. On 24 July 2006, the entire Unity Team for negotiations with Serbia had traveled to Vienna, thus beginning negotiations on Kosovo’s political status. If political negotiations had started immediately, they would not have been able to begin because the objections would have been fierce. Therefore, negotiations on technical issues were first preferred so that negotiations as such could be installed and then their character could be ‘advanced’ into political. It was no different this time either. Some things are not understood or are understood late because they are familiar, old things but forgotten. Repetition is the masking of itself. The talks so far in Brussels between Kosovo and Serbia are... continued on page 14 For Kosovo’s supervised independence, the current Government is first removing not the supervision of independence itself, but the supervised independence itself
