Comment BY ARBEN LLAJJA Diplomacy with Macedonia For some time now, Albanians in Macedonia have been living in terror of dark forces which, in large groups, are abusing, killing and attacking Albanian children. Albanian diplomats in Skopje call these cases isolated. The shame of the Albanian diplomats, sycophants, who are known in Tirana as low-ranking diplomats, has they ever reacted? They mostly do the work of party militants in government. Since the Albanian ambassador in Skopje, Mr. Arben Çejku, was summoned to the Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for consultations regarding his statement about the Macedonian Encyclopedia, which says that Albanians are “ardhaçak” and “cigan mali”, it was made by academics with a Titoist mentality. The ambassador lowered his head and was afraid that they might expel him to Tirana as undesirable and he would be left jobless on the streets. Comment BY ARTAN LAME Parks are disappearing in Tirana The parks of this city are currently, as we speak, under the blade of the guillotine, which is expected to fall on their heads. I will give only 3 such examples. The example of the park at Dajti, which by an earlier government decision has been secretly stripped of 167 hectares. A park that gives breath to the entire Tirana valley, not only the city of Tirana. The antennas were not enough, it was not enough that the other peak of Mount Dajti has now also been privatized, the quarry licenses were not enough. All this was not enough, and now it turns out that 167 hectares have also been taken from Dajti park to build on it. The second example I want to mention is the park of the Lake in Tirana. I denounce here that around 40 thousand square meters of this park are surrounded by private walls and around 70 thousand more square meters, that is, another 7 hectares, have been converted and reconverted, over-privatized, and are waiting for the day to be fenced off and built on.
