Comment BY PREÇ ZOGAJ The 100th anniversary as an election-eve show It is right that the United States of America, Austria, Italy and several other Western countries should be at the top of the list of guests invited to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of our country’s independence. All this is to honor history and the right to self-determination. With an open heart, the friends and later allies should also be invited, even the youngest ones, regardless of whether a hundred years ago they may have been against us or stabbed us in the back. Friendships, in no case, can be held hostage by the past. The century has healed many wounds, Albania has been reborn from its ashes. Up to here I believe no one has any objection. The objections concern the degree of seriousness and order that should accompany this great national and state undertaking. Who sets the criteria, who designs the protocol, who makes the list of countries and personalities to be invited? How are the invitations sent? Even the smallest details are important.
