Commentary BY AFRIM KRASNIQI The eternal war of statues The Dictionary of the Albanian Language has difficulty making a distinction between shtatore (statue, full-length statue), bust (sculpture), monument (memorial), and memorial (sculpture or architectural work). The almost identical meaning among them makes it even harder to publicly identify such a work of art, which essentially expresses appreciation for a certain event or individual.
