The judge of Durrës, Neritan Tabaku, in an interview for “Shqiptarja.com” says he had no connection with the file of Ilir Xhakja, who on 13 September killed chief commissioner Adem Tahiraj. He denied that he is wanted, expressing his willingness to be investigated. And so, I am dealing with the three laws that Parliament must approve today, but also with the Fier district issue, set as a condition by the Socialist Party for the vote on the three laws. Do the Socialists have the right to demand respect for court decisions on the Fier issue? Of course they do, doctor, and you know that very well. A person who has once received a mandate cannot have it removed by court decision, unless he or she has committed a serious criminal offense. It is like saying about the deputy: if he has been sworn in in parliament and has voted for the chairwoman, you cannot say that we do not like this chairwoman and then take her to court or seek to strip the deputy of his mandate. You, doctor, are a master of these political games and the PS’s pullbacks into the battle over the Fier issue have gone so far that now no one can solve the deadlock that has been created.
