Numerous conflicts within the Jenisheri clan have led some of them to “inform” on 79 dynym of land that was abusively taken from the state. After 6 months of investigations, the police arrested 5 officials and declared 1 employee of the Property Return and Compensation office in Tirana wanted, accused of abuse of office. ■■■ TIRANE ADELA SHEHU Numerous complaints from citizens, mainly from alleged land owners in the Spille area, led to the formation of an investigative group to carry out the relevant checks on former AKKP officials. The police arrested six former senior officials of the Property Return and Compensation Agency yesterday, accused of abusing their duties by returning several properties in Spille to people who were not their real owners. This concerns a plot of 79 dynym of land along the coastline of Vilë-Bashova, Grethi, Spille and Domet. This area became the property of the Jenisheri family. This family is known as the “owner of land documents,” according to former officials of the Property Return and Compensation Agency, who abused their power by granting them the land area. People from within the Jenisheri clan said they had family problems and that some of them had informed that the land area had been taken unfairly. After receiving applications for the jobs our company has announced for client companies, and after conducting the first screening of applicants based on the experience they have presented in their CVs, we prepare for the interview process with the selected candidates. But in some cases, an applicant who has applied and been selected from the submitted documentation for an interview withdraws from the application at the moment when they are invited to this job interview. The same phenomenon occurs even when the candidate has passed the first stage of the interview and is invited to interview with the future employer; they do not show up for this interview. I will first exclude the case when the applicant has found a job in the meantime and is no longer interested, and let us focus on the analysis of the case when the applicant is unemployed, applies for a job position, completes an initial interview successfully, and at the final moment when he or she is to face the future employer, withdraws. Withdrawing from the application is justified and worth valuing when it results from the applicant's better awareness, based on the more detailed information he or she receives about the job requirements during the first interview, about the mismatch of the skills and competence they possess, or with the expectations they have for this job position.
