We saw decorations everywhere, but to make our lives rich and beautiful this year, we would have to do more. I am tired as I think that this year will be one of major and difficult challenges. I am tired as I think that the conversations at our daily tables revolve just as much around Berisha as around Rama, just as much around Bamir Topi as around Kreshnik Spahiu. I am tired when I think that the challenges are right there before us, but we do not take them seriously, that we must strive endlessly in order to begin the year with a summary of murders on the first day and handbag thefts on the third. In the end, these are news items that tire us, but they are tiny compared with what we will have to face this year. And I think we have two important challenges: the elections and the economy.
