Paradoxically, but only Berisha can save the DP from suicide
After preparing for eight years to take the post of head of government and after fighting for three and a half years in Parliament against the accusations of the Democratic Party, now Edi Rama faces the desperate search of an opposition. The tunnel into which Lulzim Basha has entered by launching the protest of 18 February, which continues to have as its only non-negotiable demand the creation of a technical government, is pushing the Democratic Party toward the abyss of boycotting the general elections of June. After raising his demands to the maximum, Basha nourishes the illusion that he will also maximize the results of the protest.
