FROM DECISIONS TO IMPLEMENTATION
IN TPËLENË:
Action to brighten the homes
During the summers of 1988-1989, near 1 inhabited quarter, the rate of handover of apartments reached 648 units. This limited result is the consequence of the weak supply of certain materials, especially doors and windows. Assessing this situation realistically, with its own workforce and reserves, Construction Enterprise 215 in Nd-? encouraged lively. 25 m drr-? kërk? completion of the works in qashtë? for the year 1991 and putting into operation 15 buildings instead of the 12 foreseen by the plan. Starting from the work carried out so far, they began, at the start of the stage, two months before the handover of the apartments in the fourth quarter. We will hand over 618 apartments, and another 300 are being added to this number, left half-finished and unused by other enterprises. To ensure completion on time, working at much better rhythms than before, but especially to improve working conditions, on the initiative of the communists and with the help of partner organizations, an action was organized that will continue until 15 September. 250 workers and specialists from Tepelena, Memaliaj, Gjirokastra, Lazarati etc. took part in it. The works have begun with the installation of the electrical and plumbing networks, fitting of doors and windows, plastering, floors and other operations to make the homes ready. For this action, together with its own forces, specialists and broad social forces are working with enthusiasm to accomplish the tasks. DORO ZONA[?]
Plums ripen in Tropojë, the market is lively and crowded
OBSERVATION
The city agricultural market is noisy, with an unusual atmosphere. Here, for no less than three years, preparations for welcoming the New Year have been carried out somewhat differently. Near the rural town? with white rows of olive trees? and plums, the main attractions are the products of the agricultural cooperatives. What stands out is not only the abundance and high quality of the plums and peaches, but also the order and way in which everything is organized. The goods are arranged attractively and tastefully on the stalls, prices are posted, and sales are made in an orderly line. Yesterday, farmers from Bytyçi, Bujan, Margegaj and Lekbibaj had come here with their products. Everyone speaks of prosperity and of a good year. In conversation with them we learn that plum production is good and that measures are being taken for timely collection and processing. At the collection center they are working at a good pace, and transport means are being organized to help the farmers. The best part of the produce will go to market needs and for processing. Sellers and buyers are satisfied. JOZEF ZONCA

Good winds are blowing in the engines
Albania is on the move! This is an expression that in recent times is heard often, on many occasions and offhand. People in the economic field are trying to find in it the meaning of a new vitality. In the spirit of cooperation and mutual assistance, in technical service, in the supply of spare parts and in the better use of equipment, the engines seem to have begun to breathe differently. In some enterprises and workshops it is felt that there is more responsibility. In District No. 2 of Tirana, where vehicle and transport services occupy an important place, there is a visible effort to mobilize internal reserves. Attention is focused on fuel saving, full use of equipment, and better organization of workshops. Workers and technicians are looking for more efficient ways. In a meeting with them, shortcomings were discussed, as well as technological discipline, care for equipment, and each person’s responsibility. These good winds must be turned into daily work and tangible results. PALI MIRHELI

The wounds are deepening, the silage is growing
[?] The needs in food and livestock tools require a more rational use of the forage base. In some cooperatives work is being done to increase the area of forage crops and improve the quality of silage. Specialists advise that cutting and preparation be done on time, so that losses are as small as possible. In farms where the work has been well organized, the results have been evident. Of particular importance remains daily control and the implementation of technological standards. (According to ATSH)
