— LIBRAZHD — While we hear reports of work stoppages at the Vreshtas State Agricultural Enterprise in the Korçë district, people are also striving together for a better future, working to carry out their tasks on schedule and across the board. After a winter with ample rainfall, the workers at our farm are working with great commitment to fulfill the seasonal tasks. We are therefore working at our familiar pace, having first taken up the two basic crops of the economy, from which the greatest income will also be secured. Their condition and development are promising. These days we began planting sugar beet, and its schedules are being met regularly. The planting of seasonal vegetables in the seedbeds—tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, spring onions, leeks—and those for the fields, such as spinach, lettuce, salad greens, and peas, has been completed in full, and they are being tended every day. — LIBRAZHD — The working class of the Librazhd district is upholding its tradition of fulfilling tasks across the board. This is also expressed by democracy and self-esteem. Dashamir Gegaj, chief agronomist at the geological enterprise, brings us the good news that this enterprise fulfilled its three-month tasks in securing chromium and copper reserves. He regards the discovery of a chromium-bearing layer more than five meters thick in lower Bushtricë as a new deposit of rich chromium ore. The chromium mine has met its production target, as well as its sales target. Meanwhile, the iron mine has not met its sales plan, since the metallurgical combine is undergoing maintenance and the plant that uses this raw material has had no need for it. But the iron-nickel mine, for the period from January through 15 March, has substantially exceeded its export plan, reaching 228 percent. Meanwhile, both industrial production and sales of goods have also exceeded their targets by ninety-seven percent. Sales of goods alone reached more than 190 percent.
