THE REPUBLIC IN STATE AND AS IT WILL COME [?]
- Report -
In 1949 Hekuran Isai was still in 1946...
Today, on 11 January, it has been 46 years since our country proclaimed the republican form of government. This event marked a fundamental and definitive change in the state order of Albania and constituted an important historical act in the life of the Albanian people. It was the result of the struggle and efforts of our people for freedom, national independence, and democracy.
Our republic was born from the National Liberation War, from the destruction of the old order, and from the free will of the people to build a new state, based on the principles of equality, popular sovereignty, and broad participation in the conduct of the country's affairs.
In the years that followed, the country experienced many developments, but also serious political and institutional distortions. In the name of the republic, acts were often carried out that undermined its democratic essence. The cult of the individual, the violation of civil liberties and rights, the absence of political pluralism, and extreme control over economic and social life stripped the republic of its true content.
Today, as our country is entering a new stage of democratic development, 11 January reminds us not only of the formal proclamation of the republic, but of the duty to fill it with new content. The republic must be a state of free citizens, responsible institutions, and the rule of law.
This requires the separation of powers, free and fair elections, a public administration in the service of the people and not above them, as well as respect for human rights and minorities. The republic is not merely a constitutional designation; it is a way of organizing the state and the relations between the state and citizens.
Today's Albania needs a modern, European republic, capable of guaranteeing order, social justice, and well-being. This republic must be built on political consensus, on national reconciliation, and on openness to the world.
For this reason, the anniversary of 11 January should serve not as an empty ceremony, but as an occasion for reflection on the future. Only in this way will the republic truly become the shared home of all Albanian citizens.
National reconciliation is part of the greatest struggles of media [?]
ISMAIL KADARE: I support without reservation the mission of the national politician
National reconciliation is part of the greatest struggles of media [?]
The spirit of cooperation has emerged clearly among Albanians in our time. Intellectuals, writers, and people of culture have a major role in supporting this spirit of reconciliation and understanding. This is the path out of the long moral and political crisis.
We do not have the luxury of further division. The Albanian nation needs spiritual peace, dialogue, and a common project. The culture of division must be replaced by the culture of unity.
The great Albanian writer Ismail Kadare has said that he fully supports the mission of the national politician and that reconciliation is a condition for the country's progress. According to him, we are carrying out a peaceful revolution, changing things with understanding and culture.
In this process, the media, political forces, and civil society must show a high degree of responsibility. No one should incite hatred, revenge, or violence. Albania needs to open a new page in its history.
THE PEASANT WANTS THE TITLE DEED IN HIS POCKET
- So far it has only done 7-8 thousand hectares of land [...]
Taking land into use and transferring it into the ownership of peasant families is one of the fundamental issues of reform in the countryside. Without solving this, there can be neither a revival of agricultural production nor the peasant's direct interest in the land.
The land law that has been approved provides for its distribution in the spirit of justice and according to the concrete possibilities of the Albanian countryside. However, its implementation has moved slowly and with hesitation. This has caused dissatisfaction in many areas and increased uncertainty about the future.
The peasant is not satisfied with promises alone. He wants the title deed in his pocket, as concrete proof that the land he works will be his. Only then will he invest labor, means, and hope in the future.
The government is obliged to enforce the law without delay, hesitation, or distinctions. Any stalling harms production, order, and citizens' trust. Agrarian reform cannot remain on paper.

It would surely be a joke, like that of Bashkim Kopliku!...
"Has the chairman of the old Executive Committee come to Ujti in a settled state; or does the office that has Mulo Asllani ignore the laws and government decisions?"
... 250 thousand families that have received land must also receive the title deeds. On the 6th of yesterday, if everyone watched the television program in which Bashkim Kopliku spoke about a process that is being unjustly delayed.
If this is a joke, it is a bitter one; if it is true, then we are dealing with serious irresponsibility. The laws and decisions of the government cannot be ignored by anyone, least of all by local leaders.
The peasants are waiting for a solution, not excuses. Every day of delay weighs on the economy of the families and on trust in the state.
Let everyone learn:
RUSSIA HAS ITS PLACE ONLY FOR MOVEMENTS
The actions of nationalisms, revanchism, and ethnic hatred cannot find shelter in the new Europe. Any attempt to revive old hegemonic policies goes against the spirit of the times and against the interests of peace.
Events in the region show that democratic movements and the aspirations of peoples for freedom and self-determination cannot be suppressed by force. History is moving, and Russia's place can no longer be one of imposition, but of civilized relations with its neighbors and with the world.
Let everyone learn that the future is built on respect for nations, not on threats against them.
