The Audition of the Socialist Party

We are on the eve of the electoral campaign and citizens want to know clearly what political force stands before them. The Socialist Party presents itself with a reform program, with a social-democratic orientation, aiming to protect the interests of labor and production. In the polemics of recent days, much has been said about names, labels, and old ideological ties. But credible reform is measured by the concrete content of the program, by the ability to govern in pluralism, and by the acceptance of a market economy. This reform is not a slogan. It is linked to the need to pull the country out of crisis, to rebuild the rule of law, to ensure investments, and to give work the value it deserves. (Continues on page 2)

This is the essence of the PSSH program, which the opponents are attacking with old labels. But in the end, even the right, when it enters an electoral campaign, uses social promises, protection of vulnerable groups, free-market economy with a social corrective, and European orientation. It is no coincidence that in countries where social democracy has been a force for progress, it has known how to combine the market with social justice. The PSSH program speaks of pluralism, private property, encouragement of production, cooperation with the West, and a way out of the current stagnation. (Continues on page 2)
