They require vision, courage and a program. When the government does not deepen the perspective, the country gets stuck in improvisations and citizens’ hopes diminish day by day. Many promises have been made, but few have been made concrete. Instead of a long-term plan, we hear momentary explanations. Instead of transparency, unclear statements multiply. This is not enough for a society experiencing severe economic and social consequences. In this climate, it is no surprise that people feel tired and uninterested. But silence is not a solution. The government must speak clearly, show the way and convince people that today’s sacrifices are not meaningless. Otherwise, disappointment will deepen and society’s response will come in other forms.
