LIR HOTI MAKES THE MIST SHROUDING THE $1.6 MILLION SCANDAL THICKER

- Genc Ruli signed a document on 8 June 1991 in his capacity as minister, whereas he became minister on 12 June.

LIR HOTI MAKES THE MIST SHROUDING
THE $1.6 MILLION SCANDAL THICKER
- Apparently Hoti states that he has forged the signature and confirms the alleged stolen document of Bunkes?[?]
- Genc Ruli signed a document on 8 June 1991 in his capacity as minister, whereas he became minister on 12 June.
- The PP parliamentary group makes an inquiry concerning the 16 million issue.
- Could the Hoti document be going down as a victim of politicians?!
The cleaner the square becomes, the murkier the matter of the 1.6 million dollars appears. Mr. Hoti’s latest explanation, in which he refers to the signature on the document and says that the signature is forged and that the document is not his, not only does not help solve the problem, but on the contrary makes it even foggier. If the document is not Hoti’s, why did he previously accept it as his own? Who prepared this document? Why was his name used? Why was this clarification not made earlier? These and other questions naturally arise for the reader.
If we return to the published document, some other inconsistencies can also be observed, which make the matter even more suspicious. The document bears Genc Ruli’s signature dated 8 June 1991 in his capacity as minister, whereas he became minister on 12 June. How could he sign as minister four days before his appointment? This is a point that requires a precise explanation.
The PP parliamentary group has also made an inquiry in connection with this issue, asking for clarification regarding the movement of the sum and the specific responsibilities. According to them, everything cannot be closed off with vague statements or by shifting blame from one person to another.
On the other hand, the fundamental question remains: is the Hoti document being used as a victim of politicians? Is a financial scandal with serious consequences being covered up by a fog? This issue calls for a full and transparent investigation.
In the leadership of the PD we are like dead pilots
In the public and the key this is the nostalgic core of the people.
In the leadership of the
PD we are like
dead pilots
(continued from page 1)
If this work weakens, it will all unravel. In this troubled time, when something thrown into the air can become a political issue, care to preserve unity is paramount. What was said in the meeting should serve as a signal for reflection and not to deepen divisions.
Part of the discussion has focused on relations with the party structures and on the need for clearer leadership. There are voices calling for more responsibility and accountability, while others see the situation as the result of poor coordination.
Some speakers also used the metaphor that “in the leadership of the PD we are like dead pilots,” to describe the paralysis of decision-making and the lack of direction. This expression echoed through the hall and is expected to spark further debate.
Shameful political setup
The indictment against PD deputy Mr. Hazm Hoxha is rejected.[?]
The indictment on which the court hearing at the Tirana Court was conducted presented a series of contradictions and gaps that made it untenable. The defense insisted that the process was political in nature and was not based on sufficient evidence.
The legal representatives pointed out that the documents submitted did not match one another and that the key testimonies were unclear. According to them, everything suggested that this was a shameful political setup.
The hearing drew interest and reactions, while the decision to dismiss the indictment was welcomed by those present as a return to legality.
$7 million in Bulqiza?
$7 million
in Bulqiza?
- As Mr. Meksi says, they were given to it -
By XHAFER SPAHIU
In a late television report, which commented on several financial data, the sum of 7 million dollars was also mentioned, which according to Mr. Meksi was given to Bulqiza. This figure raises questions about how the funds were used and about the concrete results on the ground.
Residents and specialists in the area state that the reality of Bulqiza does not match such claims. Damaged infrastructure, lack of investment, and everyday difficulties are still present, which makes these statements even more suspicious.
If this money was truly given, then its destination must be made transparent and the responsible institutions must be held to account. Otherwise, the public has the right to demand full answers.
