This morning, on 22 March, when the PD won most seats in the parliamentary elections, the Albanian reality proved in a restrained way its full establishment. The competence of local government, through this power and the blocked PS, and the compensatory vote of the common local government with the central one, when they assessed the population and the populated, and the closing without vote and in this way the democratic course was not secured. And, especially, power to this one will line up all opposition parties, the workers and others from the territories. It is not to calm the calm. An official of the National Bank, in an economic analysis, has made accurate calculations. Annual inflation for the January-July 1993 period was 154 percent. In June 1992 annual inflation was 69 percent, while in the following months it changed pace. In 1992 the price index was high and this cannot be hidden by propaganda. In July 1993 the overall price index was calculated at 7.5 percent. These data show the opposite of the official statements. In this context, fraud with figures cannot conceal the economic reality. According to specialists, the population’s real incomes have also fallen. Compared with June, price changes affect basic consumer goods. In particular, bread, kerosene, energy and other goods have made citizens’ lives harder. On the other hand, the government continues to speak of stabilization. That is precisely where our objection lies. Instead of acknowledging the situation, it is publicly manipulated. In the last 4 months figures have been given that do not match reality. BASHKIM MOCI
