The PD provokes the parliamentary crisis
Political maneuvers speed up the end of the PD's corrupt rule
Fear of debate is fear of the truth
FATOS NANO DECLARES TO THE PRESS:
"The fact that the chairman of the Socialist Party was not given the floor speaks to the total lack of democratic culture and to a parliament that is being fascistized with increasing speed and ever more police-like characteristics".
STATEMENT BY THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PS, ATOS NANO, FOR PARLIAMENT AND THE PUBLIC OPINION
His position and that of the socialist parliamentary group on what happened yesterday in the plenary session of parliament.
It has been stated that HP[?]SH has put forward absurd and ridiculous interpretations about the position of the PSH regarding its decision on the government and parliamentary crisis. If the chairman of the PSSH, Fatos Nano, declared that the presentation of the government program for discussion by Prime Minister Meksi felt as though it had already gone beyond the political and institutional subject of yesterday's session, and that this was happening because of the corrupt rule of the PD and its government, he requested that the floor of parliament and public opinion be taken by the chairman of the PSSH parliamentary group or another socialist deputy, who would politically and legally substantiate this entire position.
Instead, today's parliamentary majority, led by the top leaders of the PD, in line with their political objective of turning the country's parliament into a kind of false Europe[?] where the opposition's right to speak does not function, chose the most arbitrary and primitive solution: depriving the opposition leader of the right to speak.
Later, following this same сценарий, the prime minister presented the so-called government program, which is concocted, insincere, and without any real support. In this respect, it only deepens the political and institutional crisis.
Fatos Nano was prevented from speaking both as chairman of the PSSH and as a deputy, which is an unprecedented act for a country that claims to be pluralist. This behavior shows fear of debate, that is, fear of the truth.

Talos Nano answers the press's questions
Today, during the presentation of the statement by the chairman of the PSSH regarding yesterday's parliamentary meeting, Mr. Fatos Nano answered several questions from journalists at once.
Regarding whether the parliamentary procedure had respected the rules, Mr. Nano said that this should be assessed by all deputies and by public opinion. He stated that he considered it completely unacceptable to deny the opposition leader the right to speak in such a session.
As for the possibility of the opposition taking part in the discussion of the government program, he said that this could not be done under conditions in which the basic right to speak was being denied.
Finally, he emphasized that the majority's conduct showed not strength, but political insecurity.
