Residents and workers who have seen the contents of the aid at close range speak of products that not only are useless for consumption, but also pose a direct risk. Meanwhile Durrës, the warehouses of Kavajë and Rrogozhinë and other areas are mentioned as links in the same scheme. Links with foreign firms and with persons who played an intermediary role in bringing this aid have also been mentioned. In connection with these facts, public opinion is demanding full explanations and concrete responsibility.

A conversation has been held with representatives of the American National Republican Institute. The meeting dealt with issues of political life and democratic developments in the country. The interlocutors discussed the role of political forces, institutional relations, and the need to strengthen democratic processes. Issues related to the functioning of the opposition and the political climate in the country were also touched upon. The meeting took place within the framework of contacts with international organizations and was judged useful for becoming closely acquainted with the Albanian reality.

PS ACTIVISTS OF THE KORÇË DISTRICT Voices in the press and information from the Socialist Party clearly show that support for the PS is growing throughout the country. Activists from the Korçë district stress that new elections are the fairest way out of the political crisis and the way to establish genuine democratic standards. Representatives of the local activists underline that citizens are demanding change, transparency, and institutions that function on the basis of the law. MINISTER XHAFI INDI- FERIT APPROVES KORÇË WITHOUT ROADS AND GORA WITHOUT ROADS At a meeting held with residents of the area, numerous concerns were raised about the condition of the roads and the lack of investment.
