The PS conference of the Vlora district also discussed the problems of the left's electoral program. A more organized and systematic determination is necessary for organizational strengthening, as well as greater awareness among the membership regarding the importance of the October elections. In the report and in the many discussions on the socio-economic situation, the democratization of the country's life, etc., the governing policy was criticized, as it is seriously harming the country's economic life. This is clearly reflected also in the distribution of the state budget and in the wages of workers in the various categories.

ROMANIAN COCA-COLA TRUCKS ARE BEING UNLOADED AT THE BUILDING OF THE ALBANIAN COCA-COLA COMPANY
It was a scene that looked completely strange, almost absurd, if you took into account where it was happening: several transport trucks were unloading red crates full of bottles of the famous «Coca-Cola», the kind sold all over the world. This sight has become so ordinary in the civilized world that it no longer surprises anyone. But in Albania, this was happening in Tirana, right in the yard of the building of the Albanian «Coca-Cola». The shipment came from... Romania.
Since the American company's president cut the inauguration ribbon [?], and ever since the official propaganda, there has been talk of the "Coca-Cola factory in Tirana," of the "great American investment," of "domestic production." Yet what can be seen today is entirely different: trucks with Romanian Coca-Cola come and go, while the production line does not appear to be working.
From sources citing workers and specialists, it is said that this building does not produce the drink, but only stores, distributes, or, at best, partially packages it. If that is true, then the much-publicized inauguration turns out to have been a purely propagandistic act.
Instead of informing the public properly, they are presented with an industrial success that does not exist. And on the eve of the elections, a ribbon cut before the cameras may matter more than the factory itself.
