THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT SHOWS EVERY DAY THAT IT IS UNABLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS FACING THE COUNTRY

- As expected, in the vote the MPs of the Democratic Party backed this government, once again endorsing the political failures of Libofshë, the reform of dismissing people from their jobs, rising prices, the plundering of wealth in the name of privatization, corruption and open smuggling, the impoverishment and insecurity of people, epidemics, lack of conditions, etc. Time has not beautified the motion of no confidence Speech on behalf of the PS parliamentary group by MP Server Pëllumbi, vice-chairman of the Socialist Party Mr. Speaker, When we presented the motion of no confidence, we believed that with arguments and facts we were striking at a government that had definitively lost the ability to govern the country and to face developments in a democratic and progressive way. Fully convinced of the failure of this government, our motion was aimed more than at that government itself at the parliamentary majority that produced it, still defends it today with its votes and justifies all the praise for its bad services to the Albanian economy, politics and society. But time has made our motion even more convincing. During these weeks and days, the Meksi Government emerged more powerless than ever to confront the all-encompassing pressures of the problems that have piled up and been denounced one after another. Now it appears to us as an irresponsible cohabitant, after which only its own continuity and self-interest must be managed. Not only that, but it also clearly demonstrated its anti-democratic tendencies of rule, with lies, deceit, with non-democratic means and paths, infringing and challenging even the rights of the deputy, political freedoms and press freedoms. It has turned into an anti-popular government that seeks to justify its failures through manipulation and political pressure. Instead of real reforms, it has offered citizens rising prices, unemployment, the plundering of public property, and a distorted privatization. Instead of security, it has brought insecurity; instead of well-being, poverty; instead of the rule of law, corruption and open smuggling. Chronicle The suit the opposition dressed Meksi’s Government in fits it perfectly
