Mass activities of the Socialists continue in the districts
Meeting of Socialists with the Swedish parliamentary delegation
Yesterday the chairman of the PS parliamentary group Namik Dokle and the deputy Etem Ruka met with the delegation of the Swedish Parliament led by the deputy chairman of the party, Mr. Anders Bjorck.
Mr. Bjorck, after greeting the representatives of the PS parliamentary group on behalf of the delegation, showed interest in the political situation in Albania and in particular in the legislative and constitutional situation. If we compare with the past, said Namik Dokle, there are significant improvements, but what worries the opposition are the reminiscences which do not help little in the country's political and social life. Good laws have also been made, which the opposition has approved, but laws with an anti-democratic character have also been made, such as the one approved these days and aimed at excluding several leading figures of the opposition parties from political life. Political power is making efforts to dominate the judiciary, and this distorts democratic developments because Albania lacks a Constitution. The project of Mr. Berisha was opposed by the opposition for two fundamental reasons: first, because it contained the premises of an uncontrolled presidential authoritarianism, and second, because there were no full guarantees for the institutional and political independence of the judicial system. The people in their majority support the opposition, therefore the opposition has the right to present its views. But the current power in Albania is not interested and operates with old methods by ruling over the judicial system, by keeping Fatos Nano, the chairman of the main opposition party, in prison, by unjustly dismissing the chairman of the Court of Cassation, etc. The discussion then focused on the content and concrete objections of the opposition's alternative draft for the Constitution of Albania. The exchange of views on this issue was constructive and fruitful. PS Press Office
"Out with the thieves from politics"
"Long live the President!" — That is what, apparently, was shouted on Tuesday in Rrogozhinë.
"Long live the President!"—That is what, apparently, was shouted on Tuesday in Rrogozhinë. But while "Pallokeria" and "Rakiperia" reported this, yesterday the independent "Koha Jonë" and "Zëri" reported that "Long live Sali Berisha" was shouted on Tuesday in a courtroom where 3 people accused of drug trafficking were released. But while in the courtroom the relatives of the accused were shouting, in Rrogozhinë the armed instruments of the state shouted in favor of Berisha. Yesterday at noon the spokesperson of the PSSH, through a press release, stated that: "From the information and audio-visual documents available to PSSH, police and SHIK employees such as Fatbardh Belba, Zeqir Balla, Lutfi Osja, etc., tried to disrupt the rally but failed." But while the news that "Long live the President" was shouted in Rrogozhinë has excited only one Albanian, and that is Sali Berisha, the violent acts of the above-mentioned will very soon be confronted with the Albanian Constitution. The spokesperson of the PSSH reported yesterday that the Steering Committee of the PS Rrogozhinë will submit a criminal complaint to the prosecutor's office for criminal prosecution against them. In any case, those few minutes that once again brought into the air the slogans from before 22 March long ago seem to have been necessary for the new scenario prepared: Out with the criminals [?], the fraudsters from politics. Everything seems to have a beginning. Just 24 hours before this happened in Rrogozhinë, Berisha defined the propaganda of the law "On genocide" as the work boss of the PD. Decreed by him in memory of the law "political blood feud," it was dismissed by the opposition and even more so by Berisha's political opponents, whom he considered defeated. Thus Brokaj, Cani, Agolli, Ruçi, Zeqo, Cuçi, etc. began mass meetings with the people, while the massive response of Albanians has frightened even z. Berisha and the Albanian administrative Party into panic. It was precisely this panic, against the terrifying backdrop of hundreds of thousands of Albanians who are calling for the arrival of the Albanian Socialists to power, that was born on Tuesday in Rrogozhinë: "Out with the criminals". But yesterday, "the criminals without crimes, or those incriminated in Berisha's political dreams" repeated what the deputy chairman of the PSSH, Namik Dokle

Escalation of the situation - a failed strategy
GENERAL ECONOMIC CRISIS MEKSI GOVERNMENT MEASURES Escalation of the situation - a failed strategy Announcement by the spokesperson of the PSSH On Tuesday, 10.10.1995, the Steering Committee of the PS Rrogozhinë had organized an activity with members and sympathizers from the town, fully approved by the competent authorities of Rrogozhinë. Vice-chairman of the PSSH Sevit Pëllumbi was invited to and took part in the meeting. Members and sympathizers of the PS, the invited attendees, came normally and in large numbers to take part in the organized meeting. From the very beginning of the activity, an attempt was noted by several police and SHIK employees, brought in from Kavaja, to implement a pre-prepared scenario to disrupt this lawful and peaceful activity. They tried to prevent members and sympathizers of the PS from entering the hall and, in their place, about 20 police and SHIK employees were forcibly brought into the hall, who, it turned out, had been directly assigned to carry out the police action. The PD newspaper RD, in a strange way, hastens to publish on its front page the pre-prepared scenario and the slogans its enforcers were supposed to shout in the hall, but which did not
