Meeting with the First Secretary of the Greek Embassy in Tirana
Yesterday morning, the Secretary General of the PSSH, Mr. Rexhep Mejdani, and the Secretary for Foreign Relations, Mr. Maqo Lakrori, received at the PSSH headquarters the First Secretary of the Greek Embassy in Tirana, Mr. Andreas Papakostantinou, at the latter’s request.
At the meeting, views were exchanged on the political crisis in our country and ways to overcome it, including the upcoming local elections. Mr. Mejdani and Mr. Lakrori expressed the Socialist Party’s position on them and also informed Mr. Papakostantinou about the main outcomes of the Second Congress of the PS. The meeting also addressed relations between our two countries and opportunities for their further development.
The meeting took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere.

Meeting with the First Counsellor of the Italian Embassy in Tirana
Yesterday afternoon, the Socialist Party’s Secretary for Foreign Relations, Mr. Maqo Lakrori, held a working meeting with the First Counsellor of the Italian Embassy, Mr. Kristofoli.
Mr. Lakrori gave an overview of the main outcomes of the public debate at the Socialist Party’s Second Congress (its second phase) and presented the PSSH’s vision for resolving the political crisis in the country. He also acknowledged the assistance Italy has provided and continues to provide to Albania.
In a friendly spirit, Mr. Lakrori and Mr. Kristofoli exchanged views on possible ways to normalize the political situation in our country.
