Your victory is magnificent
The Chairman of the German Social Democratic Party, Oskar Lafonten, congratulates Socialist leader Fatos Nano on the victory in the 29 June elections
Dear Mr. Chairman,
I believe I greet your magnificent victory.
It was a race with 82.8 percent of the country secured with 78.8 percent turnout; you will govern with a democratic majority in parliament. I congratulate you on your magnificent victory.
The PDSH lost all credibility and OSCE cannot consider, or even further discredit, the country at all.
Taking into account your extraordinary efforts and the anti-communist processes over the last 8 years, your victory is fantastic.
I will be with you
The Chairman of PSSH Fatos Nano wrote to the family members and relatives of the Otranto tragedy
Dear brothers and sisters,
With the deep emotion that has reached me, I inform you that I am postponing my arrival in the city of Saranda and leaving my envoy Jakup Krasniqi, together with Mr. Ervin Kule, to help the families and relatives of those dear to them who lost their lives in the ship of the Otranto tragedy.
I will be with you in the sad remembrance, but united in the double pain of the loss of their dearest ones. Albania knows how to pay the respect owed to its people and has very few examples of failing to do so. With love
Yours, Fatos Nano

NOTICE
In yesterday’s issue of “Zëri i Popullit,” in the NOTICE published under the title “The trophy of the cultural heritage of the renaissance,” the place mentioned in the last sentence of the article was confused. Instead of Maqellarë, it was written that it was born in Rrësena. We suggest, and in order to save our severe punishment, the failed tailoring of Sh. S[?]pries in “Zëri” where the name was written and that you go to the back door! [text partially illegible]
