It is no coincidence that in Albanian history Vlora has taken its place as a symbol of the struggle for freedom. At the most delicate and tragic moments in the country’s history, it has determined its fate. The Berisha state we have left behind tried to use Vlora as a façade; it tried to insult and kill it when it and its wonderful people sensed the danger and rose in revolt to save Albania. Now, Vlora, by the sea, is waiting to become. Berisha’s gangs destroyed everything there. The troubles and problems that must be resolved, and are to be resolved, are very serious. Hundreds of lives cut short are an accusation against the government that fell, but also a great obligation for the government that came into being on June 29.
