PSSH is for dialogue and concrete solutions, and not for petty political games On October 13 we received, via fax, a request from the President of the Association of Former Politically Persecuted Anti-Communists of Albania for a meeting with the Secretary General of PSSH on 14.10.97 at 11.00 in the morning. After reading the president's request carefully and after noting that in the fax header, alongside the name of Mr. Hekuran Hoxha as President of VFA, the name of Mr. Kristaq Lulo was also written as Secretary General of VFA, we decided that the requested meeting should include, on behalf of PSSH, Mr. Namik Dokle, organizational secretary of PSSH, Mr. Musa Ulqini, political secretary, and Mr. Spartak Braho, head of the parliamentary group of PSSH, as well as Mr. Milo Kristo, secretary for public relations of this party. At the appointed time, in the press office of the PSSH leadership, the gentlemen Hoxha and Lulo arrived with a number of photographers and began the meeting with their TV recordings and cameras. When informed that, according to their request, they would meet with the Secretary General of PSSH, they refused to meet the above-mentioned representatives of PSSH, raising absurd claims that Mr. Dokle, Ulqini, Braho and Kristo did not adequately represent PSSH. Amid accusations against Mr. Lulo of lacking culture and representation, they continued to speak in the most provocative manner before the public. Regarding our request that we tell the public what they wanted to discuss and what their demands were, the gentlemen Hoxha and Lulo responded with vulgar insults and shameful abuse. The president of VFA reached the height of arrogance and cynicism when he compared PSSH with executioners, Nazis and neo-fascists. These and other actions definitively seal the anti-democratic, anti-human and anti-citizen nature of an association that is increasingly being led and manipulated by politically compromised and discriminated against people and forces.
