The income tax law; Angjeli seeks help with its implementation
IMF: OUR EXPERTS IN TIRANA
To ensure the best possible implementation of the income tax law, while taking into account suggestions from the business community, Finance Minister Anastas Angjeli has asked the IMF Mission in Tirana to send its experts to Albania to provide the necessary guidance on understanding and implementing it. Recently, various difficulties have been encountered and suggestions have been made by the business community; these are being taken into consideration and incorporated into the secondary legislation currently being prepared. Mr. Angjeli made the request several days ago, and yesterday the International Monetary Fund Mission in Tirana replied that it had been taken into consideration and that, at the end of this week, the IMF’s Fiscal Affairs Department would send its experts to Tirana for this purpose.
THE MASSACRE IS IMMINENT
Serbs will kill 200,000 Albanians
The Serbs are preparing a major massacre against the Albanians. The objective is to slaughter more than 200,000 Albanians in Kosovo.
Yesterday at midday, Serbian forces continued closing and mining the border with Macedonia. At the same time, they completed the mining of the border with Albania along its most passable stretch. Yesterday, this closure was accompanied by “Number 1” alert readiness among all 35,000 soldiers and 17,000 special police officers, tasked with guarding these borders against an incursion by NATO forces. The Serbs are insisting that the Albanians refuse to sign the Agreement negotiated in Rambouillet, in order to make them jointly responsible.

102 kg of cannabis seized
POGRADEC: At midday on Sunday, near the Ministry of Public Order checkpoints and close to the “Guri i Kuq” Mine, 102 kg of cannabis coming from Myzeqeja were seized.

Two dead in parking lot
SHKODËR – Two people were found dead yesterday at 6:30 in the morning in a parking lot in the “Perash” neighborhood.
One of them was the parking attendant, while the other was a person wearing a mask. According to the police, they are believed to have killed each other.
