World Bank and EU: Donors to meet for Albania by the end of May

WASHINGTON—World Bank Vice President Johannes Linn informed Minister Angjeli yesterday that an urgent meeting of the World Bank and the EU with donors for Albania has been proposed and is being worked on for sometime within the month of May. The meeting will aim to raise approximately 50 million dollars needed to fill the gap in the state budget, as well as to fund development projects for Albania. So far, the two institutions have each committed 65 and 75 million dollars.
