Clinton letter to Majko before the Sarajevo meeting
CLINTON: I am eagerly awaiting tomorrow's meeting in Sarajevo with a chance for our hopes for regional stability, but at the same time for future development in the region, which we will hope for in its exchange and success.
The President of the USA, Bill Clinton, has sent a letter to Prime Minister Pandeli Majko, in which he thanks him for the cooperation and congratulates all participants in the Stability Pact meeting in Sarajevo. The manifestation of literature in politics and the approach of the project of economic penetration in this region will be one of the ways to achieve the necessary perspective.
The White House has made public in the Prime Minister's office this statement by the American president Bill Clinton. The full text of the letter says:
Dear Prime Minister Majko,
I am eagerly awaiting tomorrow's meeting in Sarajevo, with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our commitment and hopes for a stabilized life and a successful economic future for the countries of the region. The proven path in Kosovo has supported our shared determination. Which possible population facing the challenges of building the future under peace and freedom. The years of war have taught us that all of us must achieve together. I highly value Albania's support. It is necessary to learn from the lessons of recent history, as well as from the new realities.
I understand the importance of the sum of stability to continue implementing reforms that will strengthen the building of institutions and democratic rule. We will work together not only to rebuild broken houses and bridges, but also to create the necessary conditions for economic recovery, the development of trade and investment, strengthening democratic institutions and strengthening security. Together we must end the bloody conflict in Kosovo, bringing people back to their homes safely.

Prime Minister Majko and the Prime Minister of Montenegro are expected to meet today to sign the agreement on opening the border at Han i Hotit on the border section between Albania and Montenegro. Sources close to the Prime Minister's Office said that the meeting with Montenegrin President Milo Gjukanoviç is expected to take place in the town of Vermosh, and that apart from the border issue, Prime Minister Majko will also discuss with his counterpart other issues in relations between the two countries. The meeting was first agreed in Podgorica, during a meeting that Prime Minister Majko had with Montenegrin President Gjukanoviç, during his visit to Tirana in mid-July.
